The well-stocked gym rivals some of the finest workout spaces in the city, with the state-of-the-art Matrix kit making even tough workouts feel like a breeze. And, if you’ve ever fancied trying out a Peloton bike, the hotel has two so you can ride alongside a friend for extra motivation.

Prefer to build some muscle? The resistance and free weight area has all the classic equipment you need to help you tone up. The gym also runs fitness challenges to build strength, burn calories and have fun at the same time - like seeing how many times you can punch a punch bag in a minute. 

Classes more your cup of tea? The fitness studio is the home of some fantastic instructors who’ll lead you through everything from yoga to circuits. And for those who need a little extra helping hand, personal trainers are there to answer questions or create a plan that will help you reach your fitness goals.

Josiah’s Bar and Brasserie

Whether it’s brunch with the girls before your spa treatments, or an intimate dinner for you and someone special, this relaxed restaurant offers the perfect ambience. Named after Josiah Wedgwood, the famous English potter who once lived in the sumptuous stately pile next door, you’ll find a delicious a la carte menu full of local, national and International flavours. 

Josiah’s Bar

For a pre-spa speciality coffee or a post-spa g and t, Josiah’s Bar is the place to go. Choose from a menu of dangerously good cocktails - or opt for the cocktail of the month with fun, seasonal themes. Well, it would be rude not to have the Lucky Liquor Jamesons’ cocktail on St Patrick’s Day, wouldn’t

Yes. There are 147 light and airy guest rooms with blackout blinds, a desk, comfy chair and free WiFi. The main standard category are the King and Queen doubles, followed by Deluxe rooms and spacious Suites. 

You can check in from 3pm. Check-out for hotel guests is usually at 11am, but some spa stays let you stay until 3pm to make good use of all the facilities. 

It is. There’s disabled parking, and accessible bedrooms that have additional space between the furniture, reachable switches and bathrooms fitted with a wheel-in power shower and support rails.

You’ll find DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent in Festival Retail Park, a popular out-of-town shopping, restaurant and leisure location. 

Originally known as just Festival Park, it was built for one of England’s national garden festivals in the 1980s - where disused industrial land was reclaimed and redeveloped. It has since expanded over the years to include some major high street names and fashion labels, along with a cinema, ten pin bowling centre, dry ski slopes and a super fun aqua theme park.

The hotel is also right next door to Etruria Hall, a fabulous Grade II listed building that’s now DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent’s conference and wedding venue. It is. King Family Rooms sleep six and have two 50-inch TVs so you don’t even have to share. There are also smaller rooms with sofa beds, and interconnecting rooms so you can all spread out. 

Josiah’s Bar and Brasserie serves children’s meals, and kids can splash around in the swimming pool. But if you have a real water baby on your hands, don’t leave without a visit to Waterworld, just a quarter of a mile from the hotel. This tropical indoor aqua playground has over 30 different rides and attractions including Thunderbolt, the UK’s first trap door drop water slide! 

Sorry, no pets allowed. The only exception is for registered assistance dogs.

Like to pamper and putt? Sadly, there’s no golf club at DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent, but there are plenty of options close by. In fact, just a 15-minute drive takes you to Trentham Golf Club's Open Championship-qualifying course which welcomes visitors on every day of the week, except for Saturdays.
