About

Time for a pampering pitstop? Whizz down to Brooklands, the modernist, glass hotel overlooking the Mercedes-Benz World racing track. With its art-deco-inspired interiors, luxury spa and destination dining, this unique Surrey escape has so many ways to get your motor running!

Built on the Solomon Straight of Brooklands, the world's first purpose-built circuit, the hotel has a motor-racing heritage that’s second-to-none. Step inside the vast atrium to be transported back to Brooklands’ glamorous 1920s heyday. Follow the path of the Solomon Straight, picked out with quartz and granite floor tiles under your feet. Or gaze up to admire the circuit-inspired bent wood sculpture above your head.

Check-in, then chill. With many of its 131 bedrooms offering incredible views, you won’t miss a minute of the Mercedes-Benz World trackside action. But even dedicated petrolheads won’t want to linger in their luxury rooms for too long. Not when there’s the newly-renovated Bspa waiting for you!

If you like your spas to come with extra va-va-voom, you’ll be in heaven here. With a HImalayan salt room, a selection of saunas and experience showers, there’s even a sunlight therapy room for a little vitamin D with your R’n’R.

Eleven treatment rooms offer heavenly Comfort Zone rituals, while a tranquillity meditation room features gently warming waterbeds to lull you to a peaceful post-massage slumber. But the star of the show is waiting for you out on the balcony. Cocoon yourself in a soft, fluffy robe and head outdoors for a hot tub with an unforgettable view.

When you’re not busy spa-ing, there’s lots to do on the hotel’s doorstep. Fans of all things automotive should swerve to Brooklands Museum to gaze at its early racing cars and antique motorbikes. Mercedes-Benz World has three floors of exhibits, or take to the track for a driving experience. If history’s more your bag, try Hampton Court Palace, while nature lovers should make a beeline for nearby Painshill, an award-winning 18th century garden.

All that unwinding calls for fine dining, and when it’s time to refuel you’re in for a treat. Slip on something sparkly and head to the glam 1907 bar for cocktails, before an elegant dinner in the two AA rosette-winning 1907 restaurant. On hazy summer evenings the new glasshouse extension opens its roof, so you don’t have to miss any warming rays.

The Spa & Wellness at Brooklands Hotel & Spa

If you’ve been to BSpa before, you may be in for a blissful surprise. Brooklands has made a big investment to make it better than ever. And, with new areas to enjoy and brand new thermal experiences to swan around, you’ll think it’s worth every penny.

Slip on a soft robe and drift around this tranquil haven. Snuggle into a lounger or hanging chair and indulge in the unique microclimate of the Himalayan salt room. Inhale the pristine, mineral-enriched and let your worries drift away. Unblock pores and give your metabolism a boost in one of the new sauna options. Take your pick from infrared or traditional Finnish saunas, each offering unique health benefits.

Flit to the large communal steam room, then try an experience shower. Feel your tension melt away as you move from the tropical rain and mist to the monsoon downpour, all enhanced by customisable lighting for a multi-sensory experience. Complete your sauna cycle with a refreshing blast from the ice fountain – the perfect way to cool down and rejuvenate.

Make time to head outdoors for a hot tub with a view. With room for 12 people, this is hydrotherapy at its most sociable. Reconnect with friends or your other half as you enjoy the bubbles while admiring the racetrack below.

Weather looking a bit British outside? They’ve thought of that too. At BSpa you’ll arrive and leave looking and feeling like you just had a mini break to the Med. It’s all thanks to the superb sunlight therapy room, filled with comfy loungers and flooded with spectrum lighting and infrared heat replicating natural sunlight. Stretch out on your own or with friends, enjoying refreshing drinks and delicious bites from our 1907 Beach Bar menu. It’s like being in Barbados - minus the harmful rays.

A treatment in one of the zen-like therapy rooms will relax the body and mind, and awaken the senses. Then with your skin feeling silky soft it’s time to retire. For an extra touch of serenity, consider adding a visit to the Tranquillity Meditation Room to your spa day. Here, gently warmed waterbeds create a cocoon-like environment, allowing your body to deeply relax.

The Gym & Fitness at Brooklands Hotel & Spa

Whether you’re a fitness fiend or just want to dust off a few cobwebs, the BFit gym at Brooklands Hotel is the perfect place to reach your goals in style.

Improve your cardiovascular fitness on the Precor treadmills, stair climber or elliptical cross trainer. There’s a Concept II rowing machine, or jump on one of the two Peloton bikes. Pump some iron with the free weights or try a Precor weights machine - there’s an incredible range of state-of-the-art equipment on offer.

Then go for a relaxing steam and sauna to fully unwind after your challenging workout. Don’t worry though. You can replenish all those toxins you’ve released at the bar later on.

Restaurants & Food at Brooklands Hotel & Spa

Feed your appetite for all-things glamorous at Brooklands Hotel. The perfect setting for a sophisticated soiree after a pampering day, this sleek, modernist glass hotel was built on the Solomon Straight of the Brooklands racing circuit.

Its 1907 Restaurant and Bar was named after the year the racetrack first opened and draws its style inspiration straight from the 1920s - the golden age of motor racing. A recent update has given it a sleek glass extension - they can even open the roof on sunny days!

1907 Bar

Bold bites and creative cocktails are on the menu at the chic 1907 Bar. The racing circuit’s legacy had its heyday in the 1920s and 1930s, and the bar takes its design cues from the high-glam era. Slip on something sparkly and sip on signature cocktails, while admiring the chrome propellers, a nod to Brooklands’ importance as an aerodrome, too.

1907 Restaurant

All that unwinding calls for fine dining, and at Brooklands you’re in for a treat. The two AA rosette-winning 1907 serves up an adventurous dinner menu, along with an ambience that exudes exclusivity and elegance. They serve a hearty breakfast, too, along with spa lunches and afternoon teas if you’re here on a pampering package at BSpa.

Great contemporary hotel, clean and high quality. Good food in the restaurant, great views over the Mercedes track. Treatments - good but we both didn’t like our cranial treatment. Massage was great however! Lovely hot tub on outdoor terrace overlooking the tracks. Recommend this place and we will be going back soon! Such a treat.

Firstly the staff within the bar / restaurant and treatments were lovely. Welcoming and reassuring. The treatment wasn’t what we expected and I think more detail around what’s included could be given and more attention to the timings given. We found the spa front desk the least welcoming and not as helpful as the others. The afternoon tea was delicious a lot of variety and very filling.

My husband and I stayed at Brooklands Friday 13th October. We used the spa facilities- staff amazing, friendly and courteous. The amenities were great, loved the warm waterbeds in the meditation room and the outside Jacuzzi. We both had massages. The meal in the restaurant was lovely, and again staff great. The next day we visited the Mercedes Benz world then came back to the spa for another treatment each. We will definitely be back.

Visited with my daughter. We both had a treatment, back massage for me, which unfortunately went too quickly but was amazing. I felt very relaxed afterwards. We then relaxed in the hot tub and on the terrace. The sun room us also really nice. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We finished our afternoon with a delicious afternoon tea.

This place has many things going for it, but it also has some disadvantages. The welcome is efficient but more matter of fact than warm. The treatment was fantastic, the steam room and sauna were within the changing rooms but were also very good. There's a very nice hot tub and some very comfortable loungers overlooking the Mercedes World track, but that's about it. There are no swimming pools and the place is rather small overall . Prices for drinks are too high and the car parking is charged at a high rate after two complimentary hours. The afternoon tea was plentiful and of good quality. Was it worth it at £85 visit for four hours? Probably not, but I did enjoy my time.

Had a fabulous time at Brooklands. Fully relaxed. The staff were polite and helpful. Loved the different experiences available. The hot tub, the meditation room the sun lamp room, sauna and steam rooms and not forgetting the back massage. Looking forward to next visit.
