Lovely relaxing day: good facilities. Clean. Friendly greeting of staff on entrance. Friendly therapist. The only thing was for our afternoon tea we were seated first and got our food last, couldn't order something extra (chips) as machine was not working and I am dairy free so I had no choice but to eat what was served which was ok but upsets my tummy if I have too much. Simple things like we had no cutlery and no milk jug it was a mug of milk which spilt. All small things but would really help if they made some small adjustments otherwise a fantastic day.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at the East Sussex National Hotel. The room was enormous and had a wonderful view overlooking the Downs. The food was delicious, the spa and treatment were great and all staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Will definitely be going back.

The hotel room was big, very comfy beds and great view out onto the golf course. Staff in the hotel very helpful. Dinner was great, breakfast was OK, large choice but the cooked wasn't great, the scrambled eggs were not the best and the mushrooms were tinned. Otherwise good. Treatments were lovely and the facilities were good but not many beds round the pool and no cosy, comfy place to lie quietly. The relaxation room was just sofa's in bright light, it wasn't very relaxing! We paid for afternoon tea which wasn't very good at all. Dry bread, reheated scones, dry cake and limp pastry. I'm not sure I'd go back, but if the deal was good I would as its halfway for my sister and I. I just wouldn't have afternoon tea again!

My 3rd visit to this venue and once again didn’t disappoint. All the staff are very helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Sarah on the bar was exceptional and very helpful as were the restaurant staff. The food was excellent and great portions compared to my last visit. My room was spacious but I couldn’t get the air con to warm the room up. I requested an extra blanket and they promptly delivered an extra cosy duvet. The spa treatment was great as usual, excellent professional staff. The pool and poolside showers were quite cold so had to keep moving, probably due to it being cold outside . All in all a great time and feel refreshed. I will continue to recommend this place.
