The staff and treatments at the spa were amazing. Staff very attentive and listened during treatments. Also had a 2 course lunch and the food was great. The pool area itself could do with a some repairs. The grates around the pool were broken and cracked which made it uncomfortable to sit on the side of the pool. Some areas also looked a bit outdated, could do with a refresh or clean up, paint work some of the tiles/flooring and changing area.

Spa and afternoon package was really lovely experience. Had express massage which was very relaxing then use of spa. Afternoon tea was excellent - great selection and very generous. Took most of the cake layer home as couldn’t eat it all.

Had an overnight stay which included bed, breakfast, voucher for evening meal and a 60 minute full body massage. Paid extra for 30 minute head massage. I had the same therapist for both treatments Alyson, who was superb. Super stay. Used the swimming pool, but unfortunately you cannot use it after 6pm which was disappointing. But that aside it was a wonderful stay, in a lovely old house - all the staff were lovely and so helpful

As a first time spa day customer, the staff were very friendly and explained my options and the timeline of the experience. One sauna room was not working but there was never a time throughout the day when seating, pool, Jacuzzi or steam room were not available with a short wait. Though the spa itself it’s shared with hotel customers, there were few children and they were well behaved. The treatment I chose was a massage, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was full body and not just back and shoulders as I had assumed. As a Jade, the therapist, was gentle but firm. I was treat with care and consideration for my late stage of pregnancy and felt like I was in safe hands. There was a good selection of coloured polish and my therapist took care to listen to my sensitivities. The reception and waiting area were pleasant and the whole spa smelled wonderful from room to room. The robes, slippers and towels provided were clean and fresh.
