Having been to this spa a few times I was really looking forward to my spa day, and it didn't disappoint. In previous visits the spa has been extremely busy with inadequate lounger space. It was great to experience a quieter day and to see more loungers had been purchased. I was a little disappointed the steam room was out of use, and I was only informed late the night before. I think a gesture of apology would have been a nice touch, a free hot drink on arrival for example. The treatment itself was amazing and all in all it was a great day.

The building itself was beautiful and the Swedish back/shoulder massage was fantastic. The only thing that let the package down was the lunch menu was basically soup or jacket potatoes. Also very busy around pool area with people laying down in the saunas being a bit selfish with the small space.

From booking to the actual day we were treated brilliantly by reception, café staff and the ladies in the spa who were so attentive and friendly. The actual setting is stunning and the facilities are excellent and very clean. Had a very nice spiced pumpkin latte and raspberry brownie in the café would definitely recommend. All in all a lovely way to spend my birthday and the package we purchased included a Swedish back massage and a neck and arm massage and exceptional value for money. Felt amazing afterwards and slept really well that night. We will definitely be returning for my friends birthday in a month's time. We loved it so much we didn't want to leave! Gorgeous building and very clean facilities. I had a facial with Aimee and it was so relaxing. My skin feels amazing now. Only downside was that the cafe was closed due to a technical issue so I had to leave early to get some food.
