Overlooking the stunning formal gardens, the hotel’s restaurant, Maxine's, is the perfect venue for breakfast right through to dinner. Relaxed and contemporary, it’s also the location if you’re here for one of Bannatyne Hastings’ exquisite afternoon teas. Dine from a menu of classics such as risotto or chicken Milanese, or just go for a cocktail to soak up the view.

Located in the health club that’s adjacent to the hotel, there’s a luxurious 20m swimming pool, along with a sauna, steam room and spa pool to help you relax tired muscles after your invigorating swim. There’s even outdoor hot tubs that will help you warm up, no matter what the weather’s doing.

For residential stays, check-in time is from 3pm. Then, on your day of departure, check-out time is up to 11am. For spa packages, arrival times vary so do check your booking confirmation.

Situated between the historic towns of Battle and Hastings, Bannatyne Hastings is ideal for history lovers - you can visit Battle Abbey and the Battlefield Site where English history was made. Besides this there are beaches and the countryside to explore, local vineyards to sample and more top attractions than you could possibly see in one stay, such as Hastings Museum and Art Gallery, Drusillas Animal Park, Alexandra Park and Bodiam Castle.

It is! Bannatyne Hastings offers good-sized Deluxe Family rooms which can accommodate up to three in a queen-size and single bed, with the space to fit an additional Z-bed. Children can swim in the large pool at the adjoining health club from Monday to Sunday, 2pm until 7pm, and there are children’s menus and afternoon teas to keep them well-fed and watered.
