Cameron Spa on Loch Lomond

Whether you’re training for a Tough Mudder or just looking to maintain your fitness levels, a stay at Cameron House doesn’t mean you need to leave your goals at home. Its Leisure Club has a state-of-the-art gym featuring the latest Technogym Excite and Skill Line equipment such as Skillbikes, Skillrowers and Skillmills. You’ll leave feeling more motivated than ever before.

Hit the weights or resistance machines to build muscle. But if you prefer to workout with friends, the studio plays host to more than 50 fitness classes each week, from Les Mills workouts to yoga. There’s even a separate spin studio so you can pedal in front of the large screen with its pumping soundtrack.

Outdoor fitness fanatics will love the range of activities on offer, like golf or paddle-boarding and kayaking on Loch Lomond. Hire bikes from the hotel, or get your steps up with a power walk around the grounds. The Enchanted Forest Trail takes you through a beautiful wildlife haven. Or try the Treasure Hunt Trail by following clues across the estate, taking in stunning views along the way.

The Clubhouse

After a day on the greens or unwinding in the spa, head to The Clubhouse. This warm and inviting space features a crackling fireplace, comfortable seating, stunning golf-course views and a menu that blends Scottish classics with contemporary flair.

Whisky lover? Walk right this way! Settle in amid the tartan and warm wood tones and taste single malts or blends. Choose a dram, a bottle, or embark on a tasting flight to explore a world of different flavours.

The Lobby Bar

The perfect way to cap off a day of relaxation. Take your place at the gloriously golden Lobby Bar and sip on unique cocktails inspired by the myths and legends of Scotland. Here, talented mixologists have crafted a menu full of bold flavours, with drinks ranging from the refreshing Selkie to the beguiling The Ghillie Dhu, a beverage that evokes Scotland’s lush woodland with notes of forest fruit.

Cameron Grill

The hotel’s signature restaurant has plush booths, elegant decor and exquisite Scottish cuisine to savour. The seasonal menu features the finest local ingredients, from succulent meats and seafood to delectable desserts.

La Vista

Perched right on the loch, enjoy Italian cuisine and stunning views from floor-to-ceiling windows. With handmade pastas, pizzas, seafood, and delectable small plates, it’s also good if you were in the mood for a quick bite. The deli offers a variety of fresh sandwiches, sharing platters, breads, cakes and pastries. 

The Tavern

This family-friendly option lets you catch the game on the big screen, sip on your favourite tipple, and snaffle delicious shareables, salads, and burgers. With Thursday quiz nights and Friday live music, it's your go-to spot for relaxation and entertainment.

It sure does, and it’s award-winning! Served daily from 12pm to 4pm in the Lobby Bar, you’ll delve into finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with velvety clotted cream and sweet treats made by in-house pastry chefs. Expect some innovative savoury surprises amid the cucumber sandwiches, like smoked celeriac foam and coronation chicken vol au vents. Naturally, champagne is also offered as part of your decadent treat.

Of course! Cameron House has 208 sumptuous bedrooms, ranging from suites, family rooms, loch view, and garden terrace bedrooms. Accommodation is split between the Auld House (which has 14 suites and lashings of Scottish charm) and modern wings which boast a more contemporary feel. All suites, double rooms and family rooms have king size beds.

Here on a spa package which includes an overnight stay? Lucky you! Check-in to the hotel is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am. If you get in any earlier, the hotel will happily store your luggage for you while you enjoy lunch, have a stroll or use the leisure facilities. On the day of departure check out is 11am.

Yes it is. While the rooftop infinity pool and hydro pool aren’t wheelchair accessible, the main pool has a hoist, plus there’s a wheelchair access changing room and treatment room. At the hotel you’ll find ramps and lifts, and six accessible rooms.

It’s nestled in the Cameron Club, which is the luxurious golf clubhouse. Because the Cameron House resort is so vast, the Cameron Club is nearly three miles north of the hotel itself. You can park at the Cameron Club for free, but there’s also a shuttle bus from the hotel if you don’t feel like driving. The bus runs daily from 9.45am until 6.15pm and leaves from the front door of the hotel at quarter to the hour. It departs from the Cameron Club at quarter past the hour.

While the hotel is wonderfully unpretentious and not at all stuffy, the dress code is smart/casual in the hotel restaurants.

While spa treatments and the Cameron Spa are only for those aged 18 or over, the hotel is fabulously family-friendly, with 16 family rooms so you can all spread out. Sleeping two adults and up to three children, some even have bunk beds. 

There’s a whole programme of activities laid on during school holidays, while wee family members get a Patrick the Bear Passport to fill in throughout their stay - and a teddy to take home.

With its own private cinema and 400 acres to explore, there’s plenty for little ones to do. Popular family-friendly activities include paddle-boarding, horse-riding kayaking, bike hire, junior golf and a complimentary treasure hunt around the grounds. Kids have unlimited access to the Leisure Club with its slide and splash pool, as long as they’re with an adult. There’s even an Enchanted Woodland to explore. They won’t be bored!

Four-legged friends are not allowed to set a paw in the spa itself, of course, but Cameron House is fabulously dog-friendly. For an extra £50 per dog, per day a maximum of two hounds can check in for the night. For that they’ll get their own bed, bowl, treats and poo bags - and the chance for walkies on the shores of Loch Lomond.

Picky pooches can even join you for a three-course dinner of their own at The Tavern, La Vista and The Clubhouse. They’ll eat like kings from their own Woof-tastic Menu made up of dog-friendly lattes, snacks, main courses and desserts! 

It has two, so it’s perfect for those who love to combine relaxing spa breaks with a round of golf. The Carrick is Cameron House’s 18-hole championship course, with exceptional views of Loch Lomond from the 10th and 14th holes. The par 71 course is 7,082 yards long and has played host to the PGA Cup and the Europro Tour. 

Sounds a bit serious for you? Have a fun game on the nine-hole course. Called The Wee Demon, it’s the ideal option for beginners or those looking to improve their swing.
