Surrounded by more than 140 picturesque lakes and just about as tranquil as it can get, this is a must-visit for anyone who’s looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Fabulous relaxed setting to celebrate husbands birthday, a 0 birthday for me and our 25th wedding anniversary. Was able to enter room a little early. Food was gorgeous and spa was so relaxing. Although pool was too cold, not like normal spa temperatures. Spotlessly clean in room and great facilities in a beautiful setting. Would 100% recommend to family and friends.

Overall our spa break was good. After a rocky start of a mix up with the spa treatments timings due to lack of communication between the reservations and spa it was sorted out by the amazing spa team efficiently so we were able to relax and enjoy our treatments. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Spa beds for treatments do need to be updated so they are more comfortable and adapt by movement eg up down, bottom and top able to raise etc .Rooms in hotels were comfortable. The Old Boat House has a lovely ambiance and food was good, but unfortunately it does need heating as it was very chilly and cold in the evening when we had dinner hence coats were required. Hopefully next time we would eat in the Bistro in the hotel which was our preference but closed during our spa break.

This isn't a fully equipped spa. It's for those of us who don't want hoards of people cramming into 10 different steam rooms and saunas. If you want to try lots of different things then this will seem very limited - small pool, ice bucket, sauna, steam room, gym, spa treatments. Everything they did was done very well. We had a rasul mud treatment, which was one of the best we've tried (except not knowing how long we had been in or had left) and the afternoon tea was delicious even if the waiters disappeared after our 2nd coffee. Really excellent small spa hotel and gym. If you're after a good treatment, relaxation and afternoon tea then this is certainly high on the list.

Wonderful treatment full body scrub and back massage, perfect! Swimming pool- very nice, jetted water seats and beds within the pool, steam and sauna poolside. The hotel is great! My room looked out onto and had access to decking overlooking the lake. Dinner and breakfast delicious again overlooking the lake.
