The package was great value verses booking direct. Hotel location was super, next to Holyrood house and Arthur’s seat 250ft hill climb which was a bonus. Comfy bed, bath, good evening meal with £25 contribution each worked well for main & dessert. Afternoon tea in the sun was great. Welcome prosecco on ice on arrival was great. Treatment was lovely. Staff were great especially concierge Mike & waiter David. Our only downer was children allowed in the pool. It’s the difference between a spa and a hotel spa I guess but I don’t want kids on my spa day! They soon left and we got the pool to ourselves for an hour. Apparently they are bringing in family swimming times so don’t let this put you off.

A lovely relaxing day in pleasant surroundings. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day-swimming, sauna, gorgeous facial and afternoon tea. Perfect!
