Heritage Retreat at Trump International Scotland

While Trump MacLeod House is only available for exclusive use and private parties, guests are offered sumptuous accommodation in Trump MacLeod Lodge, the mansion’s exquisite nine-bedroom former blacksmiths’ quarters. Here you’ll find opulent furnishings, fine linens and Italian marble en-suites in a secluded and dramatic location, minutes from the spa, Clubhouse and golf facilities.

The beauty and wellness retreat is situated in the estate’s hotel, Trump MacLeod House & Lodge. It’s located in Balmedie, a large village seven miles north of Aberdeen on the windswept North-East coast of Scotland.

Balmedie is most famous for its award-winning beach. Called Balmedie Country Park, you’ll find extensive sand dunes home to a wide range of wildlife. Perfect for those who love to stroll in natural splendour, you can walk north or south for several miles.

While you have to be aged 16 or over to use the tranquil, adults-only Heritage Retreat, MacLeod House & Lodge is fabulously family friendly. Treat the little ones to a Trump burger from the children’s menu at Dunes Restaurant & Bar, or go for a picnic in the dunes at Balmedie Country Park. 

With family golf sessions at the famous course, along with off-site activities that include dolphin and puffin spotting, they won’t be bored here!

Yes it is. There’s accessible parking, level access, and a ramp to the main entrance suitable for visitors with limited mobility, there are also ground floor accessible rooms on offer.

Four-legged friends are not allowed in the spa itself, of course, but MacLeod House & Lodge is dog-friendly - well, you are in Scotland, after all. Small dogs can stay for £50 per night, so they’ll have to save up their paw-cket money!
