About

Planning a birthday, a hen do or a reunion with far-flung friends and family? For occasions when only the best will do, try the Hollin House Hotel. Tucked away in Cheshire, this Gothic Victorian manor has a trick up its elegant sleeve that makes it the ideal location for glamorous gatherings - a Garden Party Suite with eight single beds, its own in-room relaxation lounge and two outdoor hot tubs nestled in a private landscaped garden.

Nothing says decadence like sipping a Prosecco, soaking in warm bubbles, and socialising over cream teas in a spa oasis you don’t have to share. But having the Hollin House Hotel as your backdrop will make your group getaway even more luxurious. Full to bursting with heritage charm - think grand staircases, marble statues and huge oil paintings - its grandeur comes with a welcoming, homely feel. Curl up next to crackling log fires for post-hot tubs aperitifs before sampling home cooked Italian flavours at Casa restaurant.

Situated in the postcard-pretty village of Bollington and surrounded by gardens and countryside, the Hollin House Hotel is right on the edge of the Peak District, Britain’s most visited national park. With spectacular walks right from the hotel’s front door, a five-minute drive takes you to the bustling market town of Macclesfield with its historic houses, glorious gardens, quaint little churches and fascinating museums. All this and you’re just 20 miles from the buzzing retail and nightlife hub that is Manchester city centre.

But when you’re tired of hiking, shopping and sightseeing, know that the pampering facilities in the Garden Party Suite at Hollin House Hotel awaits you. This dreamy retreat lets you reconnect while you rejuvenate, in idyllic surroundings - and it’s all the more fun knowing your group won’t be interrupted.

The Spa & Wellness at Hollin House Hotel

The ultimate luxury experience? A spa oasis you get all to yourselves. Perfect for groups of up to eight who’d like a little privacy with their pampering, you’ll revel in your own idyllic haven at the Hollin House Hotel.

Offering a unique and fun-packed experience like no other, guests staying in the Garden Party Suite enjoy exclusive use of two outdoor hot tubs set in a private landscaped garden, making it the perfect overnight retreat for hen do’s, birthday celebrations or long overdue family gatherings.

Put on your swimwear and wrap yourself in a fluffy robe, before you head outside to wallow in the warm, bubbly water. With no one to eavesdrop, the gossip can get as juicy as you like!

After a long, relaxing soak, head indoors to the relaxation area to put your feet up. With a 32-inch TV you can all watch a movie, sip a Prosecco and eat a cream tea in perfect privacy.

There are three walk-in showers and a glamorous dressing area when you want to get dressed up for dinner. Then when it’s time to put your PJs on, eight single beds let the laughter last long after you’ve put the lights out.

The Gym & Fitness at Hollin House Hotel

There may not be a gym at the Hollin House Hotel but don’t forget your Fitbit! Outdoorsy types find plenty of ways to burn off the calories from their cream tea.

Perfect for cyclists, the hotel is bike-friendly, with storage and cleaning facilities along with some of the finest rides in the North-West to try on its doorstep. You’re just a short distance from the famous Brickworks climb featured in the Tour of Britain, while superb mountain biking can be enjoyed in nearby Edale & Castleton.

Prefer to keep your feet firmly on the ground? Head out on a hike. On the edge of the Peak District, this is a walker’s paradise with plenty of scenic routes to be explored. Pick up a map from reception and choose one of three circular walks that start right from the hotel’s front door, from easy trails to something a bit more challenging.

Restaurants & Food at Hollin House Hotel

Perfect escapes should always include bountiful breakfasts, lingering lunches and decadent dining. And at the Hollin House Hotel, the food is every bit as delicious as all the pampering you’ll be doing in your own private hot tub oasis in the Garden Party Suite.

Elegantly decorated in a heritage teal blue with plush, velvet seating, at the Casa restaurant you’ll find simple Italian dishes cooked with passion and flair, and all with the grand Hollin House as your backdrop.

Alongside pizza, pasta and risotto just like mama used to make, you’ll find chicken and steak, salads and sorbets. Reviewers rave about the Italian desserts, with the limoncello posset being dubbed the ‘star of the show’.

But it’s not just pizza and pasta on offer. There are full English breakfasts, an intriguing Italian take on an afternoon tea, while the traditional Sunday roast is an extravagant, not-to-be-missed affair.
