Do some lengths of the indoor pool. It feels even better knowing the spa bath, sauna and steam are waiting to help you unwind. But if you prefer to exercise in the great outdoors, the countryside surrounding Knights Hill makes a great place for a run, stroll or power walk.

Keen cyclist? Take the countryside loop that starts and ends at the hotel. This 28-mile round trip takes you through the pretty villages of Hillington, Grimston, Little Massingham and Gayton.

The Garden Brasserie

Savour a mouthwatering meal overlooking Knights Hill’s beautiful walled garden. Get the party started with a pre-dinner cocktail, then tuck into a menu filled with home-cooked favourites. Enjoy steaks and burgers straight from the grill. Or come in the afternoon for the ultimate decadence - an indulgent afternoon tea. 

The Farmers Arms

A hotel with its own pub? Now you’re talking! Formerly the stable and grain stores, you’ll find hearty pub grub, real ales and a more informal atmosphere. Known as just ‘The Farmers’, sink into a comfy snug and admire the exposed beams and nooks and crannies of this characterful inn.

Yes it does. Found in the swish health and fitness club, the 17.5m indoor heated swimming pool is ideal for lengths. Poolside there’s a spa bath, sauna and steam room, as well comfy loungers to curl up on with your book. 

You’ll find the spa nestled in the Knights Hill Hotel, four miles from King’s Lynn. Sandringham Estate is a ten-minute drive away, while the seaside resort of Hunstanton is just a 20-minute car ride. It is also a good base for visiting the showstopping beach at Holkham and the cutesy town of Wells-next-the-Sea.

Want to stay the night? We don’t blame you. The four-star Knights Hill hotel has 79 luxury bedrooms and suites. You’ll find comfortable Standard rooms on the ground and first floor. Many are interconnecting so they’re great for groups who want to stay together. 

First-floor Superior rooms have large balconies overlooking the walled garden. Or upgrade to a Garden Master - spacious rooms with a private patio. Modern Courtyard rooms are housed in a separate building - some come as triples.

If you’re here for a spa package, Imagine Spa will provide the towel, robe and slippers, so just pack a swimming costume - or two so that you’ve got a dry one to change into for your treatment. No spare? No problem. The spa has disposable undies you can wear if you wish.

Don’t forget a good book for all that lounging you’ll be doing. And, if you wanted to stay for dinner at the Garden Brasserie, you might feel more comfortable if you’ve brought some smart-casual clothing to wear.

Yes it is. The spa, hotel and restaurants are all wheelchair-friendly.

Yes it is. While you have to be 16 for the spa treatments and thermal facilities at Imagine Spa, children can splash in the hotel’s pool until 6pm each day. The hotel has family rooms, while some rooms have the space for an extra bed or cot.

Hold the doggie manicure! Pampered pooches aren’t allowed in the spa. However, Knights Hill Hotel does let dogs stay overnight in Courtyard rooms. It costs £15 per dog, per day, but they can’t access the hotel itself.

No it doesn’t. But a little birdie told us that the King’s Lynn golf course isn’t far away. One of the most scenic inland courses in East Anglia, this 18 hole, par 72 course has tree-lined, narrow fairways for a challenging round.
