About

Put down that passport. With its woodland setting, luxurious lodges and activities galore, Lincolnshire’s Kenwick Park is holiday perfection. But while its fab facilities are ideal for kids, the tranquil Evergreen Spa is the place for adults to escape them. This heavenly haven features Elemis treatments, a relaxation room and an exclusive spa lounge for afternoon teas in your snuggly robe. And the good news? You don’t have to be an overnight guest to sample the serenity for yourself.

Set against the picture-perfect Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the 320-acre estate is rich with mature woodland. Check-in to a contemporary room in the country house hotel, or get even closer to nature. Overnight guests can escape to the forest in luxurious lodges crammed with home comforts. Warm and cosy, some even have their own hot tubs.

Dive into pure relaxation at the 20m indoor pool with its salt-wall sauna, steam room and bubbly Jacuzzi. Head outdoors for a dip in the hydro pool. Enjoy top-tier rituals from Elemis and OPI in one of Evergreen’s 10 sumptuous treatment rooms, then kick back in the serene relaxation room cocooned in your plush robe. Some packages even include delicious afternoon teas or light lunches, served in the exclusive spa lounge.

Close to the market town of Louth, guests eager to spread their wings have plenty of options nearby. Historic Lincoln with its shops, castle and beautiful cathedral is less than an hour’s drive, while the Lincolnshire coastline is even closer. Go for a paddle at one of Cleethorpes’ award-winning beaches or race around Cadwell Park’s motor racing circuit.

But when you’ve finished exploring, Evergreen Spa at Kenwick Park awaits. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, its serene setting provides an idyllic place in which to unwind. Recline, unwind and drift into zen in the relaxation room, then keep the bliss going with a post-spa dinner and tipple at the fabulous Fairways Restaurant and Keepers Bar.

It was lovely to get away. Me & Karen both enjoyed the experience at the hotel, it was a shame this dreadful virus, had to effect the stay, the hrs for checking in & out were affected, making your stay shorter, as was the time in the pool area. If we booked again, we would have an extra night. The room was lovely, as were the staff, very friendly & helpful. Thank you.

Could have been better organised!

We had a great day at Kenwick Park but the organisation on the part of the hotel could have been much much better. When we arrived they could not find our booking. When they did find our details three of our party had our treatments at the same time, the fourth member of our party was booked in for the same treatment half an hour earlier. When our member of the party arrived for the earlier appointment no members of staff were there and so she waited for fifteen minutes. After that she went to the reception and was told they had moved her appointment to be with the rest of the party. Nobody however bothered to tell us this!! This resulted in her missing around 30 to 40 minutes of the day due to having to wait around - very poor. If the Jacuzzi and foot spa's were not out of order this would have added to what was overall a good day.

I really can’t think of anything negative about my experience everything went so smoothly and was so wonderful. Booking was quick and easy, I called the hotel after booking through SpaSeekers and then got our treatments booked in. They were very kind and arranged for my friend and I to have our treatments at the same time. The spa was clean, the staff were friendly, they took great care of their clients. They seemed to be very kids friendly and have great equipment for the kids to play with in the pool. The hot rock massage was amazing and the masseuse was so friendly and respectful. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. The relaxation room is beautiful and so nice to just rest after the treatment. The food was amazing, we had an afternoon tea and then later in the hotel we had the 3 course meal and breakfast ... everything was perfect. The hotel room was amazing - so clean and spacious and well equipped. I will certainly be returning and recommending to others!

Not the best

Spa treatment was good as always Facilities very disappointing as pool cold Jacuzzi and hot tub also cold. The steam room seemed to be working intermittently. I booked the spa day for a friend as it was her birthday present. We both were disappointed that we did not swim or really use the facilities. Previously we have always had good experience however the steam room has often been out of action. My rating is based on the overall experience.

Here you’ll find 51 contemporary rooms to choose from and each has queen-size beds and walk-in showers. Or go for a luxurious woodland lodge. There are 77 in all, and most are set slightly further away in the grounds. Warm, cosy and full of home comforts, some even have their own hot tubs!

Sleeping up to four people, it also has a wet room with a shower chair and support bars.

Where is Evergreen Spa at Kenwick Park?

You’ll find Kenwick Park in the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there's plenty of countryside to explore on foot or by bike. The market town of Louth is just three miles away, while historic Lincoln is about 30 miles. Beach lover? You can get to the Lincolnshire coastline in 20 minutes if you hop in the car.

What’s the history of Kenwick Park?

Originally built in 1797 for distinguished field master Hinman Allenby, the grand Georgian home was bought by the Dixon family of Grimsby, who owned the town's paper mills. Used as a base for the Home Guard during the Second World War, it was heavily bombed.

In the 1960s it was rebuilt in a neo-Georgian-style and remained the Dixon family home for around 30 years. Transformed into a leisure destination in the 1990s, an unfortunate fire in 2014 gutted the leisure complex. But in July 2016, following a £4.5 million refurbishment, Kenwick Park unveiled its swish new Clubspa and Evergreen Spa, crammed with state-of-the-art facilities.

Is Evergreen Spa at Kenwick Park family-friendly?

Spa packages at Evergreen Spa at Kenwick Park are only for those aged 16 and over. Those aged between 16 and 18 can have treatments when accompanied in the joint room.

However the Kenwick Park Estate is fabulously family-friendly, with lots of activities laid on for little ones. Tuck into children’s menus at Fairways Restaurant and Keepers Bar, then tire them out with archery, disc golf, tennis and more! And when it’s time for their nap, Kinder lodges even feature a cute woodland-themed children’s bedroom with bunk beds!

Kids are also welcome in ClubSpa where they can swim in the 20-metre indoor swimming pool or splash in the children’s pool until 7pm. If you were craving an adults-only spa day you might want to avoid school holidays!

Is Evergreen Spa at Kenwick Park pet-friendly?

Yes it is! While dogs aren’t allowed to set a paw in Evergreen Spa, Kenwick Park welcomes dogs. Your pampered pooch can stay with you in pet-friendly accommodation. And because Kenwick Park is set in 320 acres of secluded countryside, you’ll find plenty of good walks nearby.

Does Evergreen Spa at Kenwick Park have a golf course?

Prefer an afternoon tee to an afternoon tea? Swing by Kenwick Park’s 18-hole, championship standard golf course. This beautiful course has mature woodland, charming lakes and a Grade II-listed clubhouse to enjoy.
