The Courtyard Bar

Unwind in a vibrant space with a beautiful view. Spread across two levels, The Courtyard Bar features traditional oak beams and stunning vistas overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside. The perfect spot to catch up with friends, savour a cold glass of champagne on the alfresco terrace while admiring the view. Sun not got its hat on? Head indoors and curl up by the fire. 

The Drop Inn

If you’re here on a spa package that includes overnight accommodation, you’re in for a heavenly night’s sleep. Choose from 135 rooms including Classic twins or doubles, Executive bedrooms of Suites. Many have stunning views over the garden and wooded areas. 

Here with a group? Converted from old working cottages on the 20-acre site, Cottage rooms don’t have communal areas, but are like their own bubble of three, four or five bedrooms, ideal for a friends’ getaway or a family reunion.

Please note that the Last Drop Village is quirky and full of character, so it’s best to let them know in advance any mobility challenges you may have. This lets the hotel allocate you an appropriate room and recommend the best area to park in.

The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa is in North Bolton, located just off the A666 in Bromley Cross. Bolton Town Centre, Manchester City Centre and Airport are a short drive away.

Steeped in history, The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa began life as a collection of 17th-century farm buildings known as ‘Orrell’s Fold’, as it was owned by the Orrell family. In 1930, racehorse owner William Carr acquired the farm and used it for his horses. The property eventually changed hands in 1963 when visionary entrepreneur Carlton Walker purchased it and embarked on creating The Last Drop Village.

The name itself has a charming origin story. As Walker celebrated the completion of the restaurant, his friends offered him a toast with "the last drop" of wine, inspiring the moniker. This all unfolded in 1964.

Today, The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa has blossomed into a welcoming four-star destination, recognised for its excellence with numerous prestigious awards.

While children aged under 16 can’t use the thermal suite, gym or treatment rooms, kids can splash in the pool with adult supervision. You’ll need to get in with them, with a ratio of one adult per two children.

Yes it is! Your four-legged friend can check in for £20 per night, per pet, and they’ll get their own bed for the night. There are nominated areas for pets within public areas and separate dining areas so you can eat with your pooch.

No, there’s no golf club at the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa, but there are two a short distance away. Turton Golf Club is closest at five-minutes away, while Bolton Old Links is a 15-minute drive. The hotel is partnered with both, giving guests preferential access to their facilities - perfect if you like to pamper and play!
