Lovely hotel. Very busy with golf groups which sadly meant the breakfast the next day was so poor as there was no food left at all so that was a shame. The spa was lovely as were the treatments and the dinner in the evening was excellent, great gym and pool area and rooms were quiet and spacious so all in all it was lovely other than the breakfast.

Great venue in stunning location. Lovely pool and sauna etc. Unfortunately there was a very noisy refurbishment happening so not relaxing. Great treatment from Lynn, lovely spacious comfortable room and excellent dinner and breakfast. Kiran our waiter at dinner was excellent. Lovely experience and would return.

Portal hotel and spa is in a lovely setting. Our treatments were perfect. The spa pool was extremely cold as the pump had broken so we spent more time in the steam/sauna rooms.
