When we arrived we were kept waiting for 20 minutes due to the queue of peek time of guests arriving. We were pleasantly surprised to learn we were in the Old House, room 6. Such a huge suite, beautiful huge windows and period features. Booked to eat in the restaurant for 8pm. Overall the stay was good, food ok- over priced. Bar closed at 11pm which was disappointing. Pool was full of families which was not as relaxing as we would have liked but lovely to see little ones having fun. We walked around the Estate and researched the Halls history. Would return but would prefer to stay in the new building.

We had an excellent spa day. The sauna is a little small but it didn't affect us as the pool area wasn't busy. Afternoon tea was good and nice to have it served in the hotel restaurant. Our treatments were very good and so relaxing.
