Nu Spa at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Stansted Airport

Prefer to build some muscle? The resistance and free weight area has all the classic equipment you need to help you tone up. 

Newly refurbished and looking amazing, at PACE you can run, swim, spa and indulge! But if you prefer to exercise in the fresh air you don’t have to give up your daily walk just because you’re right by an airport. There are a number of local footpaths which connect to Stansted through the beautiful Essex countryside.

Food is a quintessential part of any spa experience, whether you’re in the mood for healthy and wholesome or something a bit more indulgent. And, with two stylish on-site restaurants and its own futuristic-looking bar, you won’t go hungry (or thirsty) here.

Whether you stop for a pre-massage coffee or a post-pampering cocktail, you can’t leave without paying a visit to the Radisson Blu’s sensational centrepiece bar. Gaze up in awe at its main attraction - a 14m-high refrigerated wine tower that soars to the ceiling and houses thousands of bottles of wine! Open every day from 11 am, enjoy signature cocktails made with local and flavoured gins, vodkas, rums, whiskey, and bourbons.

Station 169

Cosy and comfortable, Station 169 harks back to the airport’s historic World War II days. With decor inspired by the US Army Air Force, you’ll find the best American dishes, along with succulent steaks and delicious grilled fish. 

Yes there is. Turn your spa day into a spa day by checking-in to one of 500 light and airy guest rooms - some even come with runway views! Tastefully decorated rooms provide outstanding comfort with WiFi, lovely toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. Choose from standard, family, premium and suites, all of which have good noise insulation and black-out blinds for a good night’s sleep.

For overnight stays, check-in is from 2pm, and you need to check out before 12pm. You’re welcome to store your baggage outside of these times. For spa packages, check-in times vary so do check your booking confirmation.

It is. The spa itself is wheelchair accessible and the hotel has wheelchair accessible wet rooms, wider doorways, lowered wardrobe, railings, and plug sockets. 

You’ll find NUSPA just a five-minute, covered walkway stroll from the terminal at Stansted. As well as being in a convenient spot for catching your plane, it makes a great base for exploring.

The buzz of the capital is just under an hour away via the Stansted Express, or you could hop on a train to Cambridge for a more relaxed shopping and sightseeing experience.

You have to be 18 or over to have treatments at NUSPA, but the hotel is family-friendly. There are children’s menus and larger rooms that sleep two adults plus two kids.
