About

Serious about your self-care? So are One Wellness. Coventry’s cutting-edge wellness centre offers an immersive experience that’s more than pampering - it’s healing for your body and soul. Where else can you take part in a yoga class then try a spot of contrast hydrotherapy, before being gently reintroduced back into reality in a Himalayan-salt infused relaxation room?

Never heard of contrast hydrotherapy before? Where have you been hiding? This therapeutic treatment begins with the soothing warmth of an infrared sauna, followed by an invigorating plunge into an ice bath. The process of heating and cooling is repeated multiple times throughout the session, allowing the body to alternate between the two extremes - for maximum results.

Offering benefits both mental and physical, it was once the preserve of top athletes looking to maximise their recovery - and celebs looking to tackle stress or detox. But thanks to One Wellness, you can now harness the healing properties of contrast hydrotherapy for yourself, in suitably swish surroundings.

Opened in January 2024 by two visionary friends who spotted a gap in the market, facilities here are so state-of-the-art, they’re used by professional sportsmen and women. But step through the doors and all is elegant, serene - and distinctly spa-like (think soft robes, calming decor and that gorgeous spa smell). Sessions take place in two luxurious private suites, and afterwards you get to retreat to the tranquil Himalayan Salt Rest Room. Here a wall made of salt brick cleanses the air, releasing negative ions to improve mood, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.

Time at One Wellness will leave you fizzing with euphoria. But if you want to feel a buzz of a different kind, its central Coventry location puts you right in the heart of the action. Grab some retail therapy at West Orchards Shopping Centre, or hunt for bargains at Coventry Market. See the world’s fastest cars at Coventry Transport Museum or admire the exhibitions at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. Coventry Cathedral is just a stone's throw away, as is the ice hockey action at Skydome.

But when you’re tired of exploring, One Wellness Coventry can revive you again. Perfect for those seeking relaxation, recovery from an injury, or a mixture of both, you can start your session with a movement class, then round it off with afternoon tea. A little birdie told us you can even add the odd glass of fizz, for a cheeky re-tox after your detox. Well, self-care is all about balance, isn’t it?

The Spa & Wellness at One Wellness

Looking for a truly unforgettable way to relax and recover? You’ll find it at One Wellness. The UK’s fastest-growing contrast hydrotherapy centre, it specialises in ice baths and infrared sauna therapy. But it’s more than just a wellness centre - it’s a revolution in health, recovery, and community.

Put on a soft robe and pad along to your own private suite, for a sense of bliss you never have to share. Not sure what to do? The friendly experts at One Wellness will guide you through it, but it’s basically just heat, cool, and repeat! Although the flow is really up to you, you’ll get maximum benefits from spending 25-minutes in the infrared sauna, followed by a quick blast in the ice bath.

There are two different suites on offer, each offering their own take on the experience.

The Private Suite - this has one ice bath and one infrared sauna, suitable for up to three people.

The Cold Club - Gather your wellness squad because this communal room has two ice baths and one six-person infrared sauna.

Both options let you try out the Himalayan Salt Rest Room afterwards. Dimly-lit and with a salt brick wall releasing negative ions that purify the air, it makes the perfect place to unwind with afternoon tea, a healthy Buddha bowl or even a cheeky glass of fizz.

The Gym & Fitness at One Wellness

Got a group of wellness-loving friends? A private package to One Wellness doesn’t mean you have to press pause on your fitness plans. Pack your activewear, because the movement classes here have been designed to maximise the benefits of contrast hydrotherapy.

Take your pick from yoga, kettlebells, or mat Pilates, all held in the infrared studio. Prefer to skip the heat? No problem. It’s up to you if you want them to switch the heaters on. But if you're up for a challenge, why not give hot yoga a try? The choice is yours!

But there’s also the option to try Tower Pilates, a full-body workout that uses a specialised frame and resistance springs to improve strength, flexibility, and posture. This viral wellness trend has taken the fitness world by storm, adding a fresh twist to traditional Pilates and delivering noticeable results.

Restaurants & Food at One Wellness

Feeling peckish? You won’t go hungry or thirsty here! Deliciously decadent graze boxes are delivered to the Himalayan Salt Rest Room to indulge in after your contrast hydrotherapy session, so you never have to lift a finger.

Graze boxes are provided by Kitchen 126, a local café renowned for its vibrant brunch offerings and delicious bakes. It’s all beautifully presented and ideal for relaxed brunches, Buddha bowls and lunches, eaten in the comfort of your soft robe.

There’s an afternoon tea graze box with delicate finger sandwiches, home-made scones and pretty pastries, while the lunch menu changes with the season. And because you enjoy these delicious delights in the privacy of the relaxation room, you can eat them while soaking up all the health benefits of the purified air.
