We booked Witney Lakes as I wanted to do something relaxing with my close friends before getting married. The pool area is in a beautiful location, overlooking the golf course and there is a well presented Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The facility’s including the changing rooms were very clean and well presented. The massage and facial were very relaxing and the staff were professional. The only issue really was that afternoon tea which was delayed by 20 mins due to a large conference booking taking priority. This wasn’t great as we all have small children to tend to when we got home and they didn’t even offer us a drink while we waited. The afternoon tea itself was OK, they had run out of clotted cream for the scones so they provided whipped cream for my friends which wasn’t very nice. I’m gluten and dairy free and my tuna sandwich was very dry (just tuna and bread), they substituted the scone for fruit and put out some pre-brought mini cakes on my plate which were ok.

My sister kindly booked this spa day for us to share and we had a wonderful time. The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The facilities were modern, clean and tidy and the food was excellent. We were made to feel very special and would definitely visit again!

We booked a 4 treatment package but were surprised that the treatments were finished well before time was up. The atmosphere is lovely and the therapists are very friendly but the overall services could be improved. The massage was good but the facial which was supposed to be a half hour treatment felt like it was rushed and hardly felt anything being done besides a mask and clean up. The lunch was very disappointing, the food was cold and hard to chew on. There was only one person attending to many people so the service was rather poor. The pool, steam and sauna room are good and relaxing. Another big disappointment was our nail treatments. We were expecting some decent mani and pedi's (again 30 min treatment each) but ended up getting only a file and polish which took 10 minutes each. The website should clearly indicate this so that people can know what to expect. If we had known about this we would have chosen a different package as a full pedicure was important for us.
