The well-stocked gym rivals some of the finest workout spaces in the city, with state-of-the-art kit making even tough workouts feel like a breeze. Prefer to build some muscle? The resistance and free weight area has all the classic equipment you need to help you tone up. 

Classes more your bag? The fitness studio is the home of some fantastic instructors who’ll lead you through everything from spin and yoga to step aerobics. And for those who need a little extra helping hand, personal trainers are on-hand to answer questions or create a plan that will help you reach your goals.

Whether you want a pre-spa brunch, a post-pampering G and T or an indulgent dinner, the newly-renovated bar and restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport is the place to go.

Relaxed, cosy and comforting, The Space is a modern lounge, bar and dining area with booths, squashy sofas and chic dining tables. Menus are seasonal and change once every quarter to reflect the best available local produce. 

There’s a few must-try items here. Coffee connoisseurs will love the Glen Lyon Coffee, made in the HIghlands of Scotland. Crispy whitebait goes so well with a locally-brewed craft beer (or two!). The loaded nachos are a fiesta for your taste buds. 

But make sure you leave room for dessert - the Baileys' panna cotta with amaretto crumbs & wild berries is not to be missed.

Yes. You can turn your spa day into a spa day by checking-in to one of the 155 light and airy guest rooms. Each one has blackout blinds, sound-proof windows, a desk, comfy chair and free WiFi. The main standard category are the King and Queen guest rooms, followed by Deluxe rooms and spacious Suites.

For overnight stays, check in from 3pm and check out before 12pm. Times vary for spa packages, so check your booking confirmation.

You’ll find DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh just an eight-minute walk from the airport, so getting here’s a breeze. The city centre is just six miles away, while Edinburgh Zoo is four miles away. Other attractions nearby include Deep Sea World (Scotland’s national aquarium) and Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh's world-class science centre and planetarium.

You have to be 16 or over to have treatments at PURE Spa, but the hotel is family-friendly. Some rooms boast two queen-sized beds, making them perfect for families with little ones, or go for connecting rooms, subject to availability.

The Space serves children’s meals, and kids can splash around in the swimming pool. But if you have a real water baby on your hands, don’t leave without a visit to Deep Sea World (Scotland’s national aquarium), just ten miles from the hotel’s front door.

It is. There’s disabled parking, and accessible bedrooms that have roll-in showers, a ground floor location and an emergency pull cord. At the spa, you’ll find a swimming pool hoist for pool access.

Better pack Fido’s little suitcase! While dogs aren’t allowed in the spa, the hotel itself is pet friendly. Medium-sized dogs can stay for £25 per night.

Sadly, there’s no golf club here, but there are plenty of options close by. In fact, just a five-minute drive takes you to Gogarburn, which has a 12-hole parkland golf course set in stunning beautiful Midlothian scenery. It’s open all year round.
