Called Kings Health Club, it's crammed with state-of-the-art equipment, plus all the latest gadgets and gizmos to keep you entertained while you sweat. 

This fresh, modern environment has a free weight zone, Peloton bike, resistance kit, cardio machines and cable machines. And, if you fancy a workout with friends, there’s an alphabet of weekly classes to power through, from aqua fit to yoga.

For exercise in the great outdoors you’ll find fantastic walks on the hotel’s doorstep. Go for a hike up nearby Leckhampton Hill for the best views of Cheltenham and the surrounding countryside. Soak up the views of the ornamental Lilley Brook Lake with its waterfall and gazebo from the huge bay window and enjoy impeccable service as you dine on a menu filled with seasonal produce and flavours. 

Lilley Brook Bar & Lounge

Say cheers to the Lilley Brook Bar & Lounge, an elegant yet comfy space stocked with all your favourite tipples. Savour a bar menu full of snacks and light bites while you sink into a squashy chair, or head outside for a summer aperitif on the terrace.

It does. The atmospherically lit 15m pool lets you perfect your front crawl with some invigorating laps - or just hit the bubbling poolside hot tub for a long soak.

Check-in for overnight guests is at 3pm and check-out is 11am. If you’re coming for a spa day, arrival times vary so do check your booking confirmation. 

Yes it is. There’s accessible parking, a level and ramp entrance to the building and accessible rooms feature roll-in showers and grab bars.

Kids are treated like young VIPs at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham. Although you must be over 16 to enjoy a treatment, there’s so much to do they won’t get bored. Children can splash in the pool daily between 9am and 11:30am and 2:30pm then tuck into kids’ menus filled with family favourites after their swim. 

Then, when it’s time for their bedtime stories, cots and extra beds are provided for free for those under the age of 18, while interconnecting rooms let everyone spread out.

It is. Well-behaved dogs up to a maximum weight of 34kg are charged a non-refundable fee of £15. To make sure your furry sidekick has a pet-friendly room reserved, let the hotel know in advance they’re coming. The grounds provide a lovely little walk, with lots of exciting places to explore in around the woods at the back of the hotel.

The hotel overlooks the 18-hole Lilley Brook Golf Course - in fact many rooms have gorgeously green golf-course views, Known as Cheltenham’s friendliest course, it also has a practice putting green, warm-up nets and a driving range.
