The Spa & Wellness at Riverhills Health Club & Spa
Life can be stressful. But you can carve out an oasis of peace at the centre of it all, with a little help from Riverhills. Put on your snuggly robe, because this boutique day spa boasts eight sublime treatment rooms, including double rooms so you can both be pampered together.
In collaboration with skincare brand TEMPLESPA, Riverhills’ face and body rituals draw inspiration from the vibrant Mediterranean. Whether you're in the mood for a results-driven facial, a detoxifying wrap, or a rejuvenating massage, they’ll help you to glow from head to toe.
Take some time to chill in the relaxation room, but don’t leave without trying the Serail Mud Chamber. A great activity to do with friends, you’ll apply mineral rich mud before stepping into the steam room. There’s space for four of you to relax together, or just go with a partner for a sense of inner peace you can both share.
No matter how burnt out you feel when you walk in, you’ll float out of Riverhills energised, cocooned - and with your skin feeling silky smooth.
The Gym & Fitness at Riverhills Health Club & Spa
The gym and fitness classes at Riverhills may be members-only, but that doesn’t mean you should leave your fitness goals at home. Bring your Fitbit and your walking boots because the leafy village of Bramford and its surrounding countryside are perfect for a stroll, power walk or run.
View mills and meadows on a walk by the River Gipping. The path takes you on to the picturesque village of Sproughton, with its tithe barn and mill. Prefer some city exploring? Head into Ipswich and stroll along the lively marina waterfront or enjoy the 33-hectares of green space in Christchurch Park.
Prefer more of an adrenaline rush? A 12-mile drive takes you to Alton Water which has a range of water sports to try. Hire rowing boats for a fun group activity, or go it alone in a canoe. There’s also windsurfing and sailing on offer, with lessons for newbies.
