Did the signature spa overnight package with my mum as our Xmas present. It was stunning, being able to use the spa facilities before checking into our room was lovely, all the staff were so friendly even upgraded our room for us. The food was amazing to! Honestly couldn't find any faults, already looking at dates to return!

A very enjoyable experience with polite and helpful staff. Started with a very nice cooked breakfast in the hotel followed by full use of the spa facilities. Well equipped gym and a beautiful pool area with sauna and steam room and drinks available throughout. We chose a back, neck and shoulder massage treatment which was excellent and concluded with a discussion with the masseuse about follow up treatment to help my ailing back. A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable day that I will be looking to repeat later in the year.

The hotel & spa are gorgeous. From arrival to check out the staff were excellent. The spa has a brand new gym, good swimming pool, sauna, steam room & Jacuzzi with an adequate number of beds to relax on. The facial I had with Megan was absolutely excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had! It did get busier & louder from 4pm when families are allowed access but by then it was time to check into the hotel so it didn’t bother us.

After reading all the 5 star reviews I was really looking forward to a spa night get away with my partner as an after Christmas treat. We arrived at the hotel around 13:30 and were told that we were not allowed to use the facilities and could not check in (I also had an email stating this). As we had travelled over an hour we sat down and had a coffee in the restaurant area until 3pm. We checked into our room which was very lovely and spacious. We headed straight down to the spa - it was very busy and not enough sun loungers for everyone, so we had to sit on the side of the pool for a while. It was also very loud to the point I could not hear my partner talking next to me. I don’t feel as we got the most out of our stay considering it wasn’t very relaxing unfortunately as then quite a few children attended the pool later in the afternoon/early evening. We had dinner and breakfast included which was okay. All the staff were very lovely and attentive!

I’m not totally sure about all these negative reviews. I cannot fault the Sketchley Grange as i booked for my partners birthday as a Sunday siesta package where a massage, one night stay with breakfast and 2 course meal. the place was clean and our room was lovely. Modern bathroom and decor in room and across hotel. Drinks were not over priced; the gym and spa facilities were more than adequate. However, the spa was prone to overcrowding and nuisance guests (obviously not the hotels fault). I have already recommended this hotel and spa to friends and family & would definitely consider returning.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my sisters 50th birthday as a party of 5. The staff in the spa and hotel were so friendly, helpful and always there if needed. The treatments were lovely and relaxing. The spa facilities were extremely good and it was spotless throughout. The hotel/rooms were comfortable and spacious and all the food we ate during our stay was delicious. Absolutely perfect weekend. We will be back.
