The Brasserie

Fancy something fancy? The Brasserie is the hotel’s elegant dining room. Head here for seasonal dining using local produce to create dishes inspired by classic British and modern European flavours. Enjoy steaks or sea bass, or sample the famous three-course Sunday roast.

The Terrace Bar

For something a little lighter (or perhaps a post-spa cocktail or two) try the cool, contemporary Terrace Bar. With stylish interiors and a laid back vibe, you won’t miss any sporting action thanks to screens showing all the latest Sky and BT Sports matches. For lunch, try its burgers, baps and sandwiches, or perhaps even a plate of tapas or two to share. Then just sip, scoff and socialise with views of the greens adding to the ambience

Lounge 98

Love to have an aperitif before dinner? Lounge 98 is the ideal place. You can pull up a comfy chair and settle in for the night in the refined lounge-like surroundings, but it’s also the place to head for your morning coffee, a light, informal lunch or a decadent afternoon tea.

It does, and it’s gorgeous. Atmospherically lit by night and with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing views onto lush greenery by day, you’ll feel relaxed before you even get in. With 15m to float in, the indoor pool is blissfully warm and has a bubbling poolside Jacuzzi to soak in after your lengths.

There are 99 gorgeous bedrooms at The Abbey Hotel, so an overnight stay is always a tempting possibility. From comfortable and contemporary Classics to the Rooftop Penthouses with balconies and far-reaching views over the golf course, all rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, beds with cotton duvets, free WiFi access, flat screen TVs, luxury toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. 

Here on an overnight stay? You can check in from 3pm, while checkout time is 11am on your day of departure. For spa days and half days, arrival times depend on the package you have booked, so do check your booking confirmation. 

Yes it is. You’ll find dedicated parking spaces, wheelchair access, reduced mobility rooms and accessible changing facilities for disabled guests. 

You’ll find it just outside the Worcestershire town of Redditch, which is about 15 miles south of Birmingham. You may not be that familiar with Redditch, but in Victorian times the town was producing 90% of all the needles in the world! Today you can learn all about it (and find out about some of the harsh conditions experienced by the workers) at the Forge Mill Needle Museum.

The hotel is also in a great location for those who wanted to combine their spa break with a bit of the retail therapy Birmingham is famous for. If you’re a history buff, set aside some time for Warwick Castle and perhaps a tour of Stratford-upon-Avon. Chocoholic? You’ll love the fact that Cadbury World is just nine miles away. 

The Abbey Hotel welcomes families, and has both Family Rooms (with a king size bed, single bed and space for a travel cot) and interconnecting rooms. You’ll find children’s menus crammed with family favourites at the Brasserie, while the hotel makes the ideal base for fun adventures at nearby West Midlands Safari Park or Drayton Manor. 

While kids have to be 16 and over to have a treatment in the spa, little ones can join you in the leisure club pool between 10am and 12pm in the morning, and 4pm and 7pm each afternoon (6.30pm on Thursdays). 

Although your dog can’t join you at the spa, the Abbey Hotel is fabulously dog friendly and your pampered pooch can stay for £15 per dog, per night.

Combine your spa stay with a spot of golf because The Abbey Hotel is home to one of Worcestershire's best courses - a championship standard par 72 parkland course, designed by Donald Steel.
