Had a lovely break at the Majestic in Harrogate. Food fantastic with unusual combinations that worked and great traditional fare too. The spa staff were short staffed but did their absolute best. The Rhasoul mud experience was hilarious fun- my partner and I were given the different muds to apply & had a hoot, daubing each other! Hotel lovely, room in keeping with the hotel ambiance. Very well situated for the beautiful Valley Gardens in Autumn... Andrew the Maitre D in the restaurant was exceptionally kind and attentive.

We went for our wedding anniversary, for a morning retreat package. There were not many people in the spa, it was quiet and very relaxing. The sauna and steam room are very small for the size of the hotel. The ice bowl wasn't working, other part of the facilities were closed. The outside hot tub could have only 3 people in as one of the jets wasn't working. The changing rooms had little space to sit while getting changed and there were no changing cubicles as well. We had lunch menu - chicken and salmon and they were nice. We felt like it's overpriced. The place is clean, it's just too small for the purpose.

We enjoyed our visit to Harrogate spa, the facilities were excellent the sauna and steam room were very good, I do fell that they had some inexperienced young staff there that made some errors which could have been avoided. If they had been given the right training. Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely visit again.
