The spa at The Mere Golf Resort in Knutsford is about a 45 minute journey from near Chester and well worth a visit - in fact I think it's the best spa I've been to. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is perfect and everywhere was clean and tidy. The changing rooms have lockers, showers, hairdryers, swimwear spinners, steam room, toilets and plenty of room. The spa smelled divine and there was plenty to do: steam room (perfect!), sauna, plunge pool, swimming pool, heated loungers, the list goes on. I'd recommend a treatment - a massage is expertly given and adds to the relaxation. Afternoon tea was delicious and dietary requirements were catered for. All in all an excellent spa retreat.

My friend and myself treated ourselves to a spa day at mere country club. We had a lovely relaxing time. The pool was lovely as were the rest of the facilities, the treatments were very relaxing and the afternoon tea was very tasty. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.
