The Nici Spa

Like to crunch before you brunch? Get ready to sweat it out in style. From running machines and spin bikes, to free weights and yoga mats, The Nici’s air-conditioned gym has more Technogym kit than you can swing a kettlebell at. And there are personal trainers on hand to help you use them, too.

Don’t like to go it alone? Head to the studio space for fitness and wellbeing classes. On sunny days you might just catch an outdoor fitness class like beach fitness or paddleboard yoga. And after all that activity there’s nothing nicer than a swim, sauna or steam to unwind tired muscles.

Sports lover? There’s ping pong and lawn croquet, but if seaside adventure is more your thing, you’re in luck. The hotel has plenty of bodyboards, paddle boards and kayaks available for its guests. 

If you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, nothing beats a power walk alongside beautiful Bournemouth beach. Right on the hotel’s doorstep, it offers seven miles of golden sand to jog along each day - perfect for living out your Baywatch fantasies. 

Pre-spa cappuccino? Cocktails on a sun-drenched terrace overlooking the pool? No matter what you're in the mood for, you'll find something to tempt you at The Nici. Oozing laid-back cool, its South Beach Bar & Restaurant offers relaxed all-day drinking and dining, along with plenty of sun, fun and sea views. 

Named after South Beach Miami, step inside and you’ll feel like you’ve flown to the US city itself, thanks to vibrant pops of candy colour and opulent gold touches. It’s all highly Instagrammable, but stop snapping the gold flamingos and eat! 

With indulgent breakfasts, wholesome salads and fresh seafood on the menu, dishes are created with flair, filled with flavour and designed to showcase local produce to perfection. 

The star of the show has to be the cocktails. Our tip? Try the Candy Floss. Made of 

Plymouth Gin, grapefruit cordial, honey water and Champagne, it’s garnished with a stick of the sweet stuff itself!

Life’s better by the pool. And at The Nici, you have two to choose from. In the spa you’ll find an 18m heated indoor pool along with a hydrotherapy pool, poolside steam room and aromatherapy sauna.

But on hazy summer days, nothing beats soaking up the sun from the heated outdoor pool. This outdoor oasis is decked out with comfy loungers - and you can have food and drinks delivered so you don’t have to lift a finger. For an extra touch of luxury, book one of the 10 luxury poolside cabanas. Two have fire pits for an evening under the stars. 

More of a beach lover? They’ve thought of that too! The Nici can provide you with body boards, paddle boards, kayaks and more!

Yes there is. At The Nici you’ll find 88 rooms and suites filled with gold trimmings and quirky features - some even have outdoor hot tubs so you can enjoy the view in style! Sumptuous suites boast large terraces with sun loungers, while even Cosy Inland rooms have luxe touches like complimentary drinks trolleys complete with carafes of rum.

Here on an overnight stay at The Nici? Lucky you! Your room will be ready by 3pm, while check-out time is by 11am. While the hotel doesn’t guarantee an early check-in, if you arrive early and your room is ready, it’s yours! Late check-out is available up until 12pm and costs £35.

You can’t get a better location than this. Overlooking the shimmering azure sea, the hotel is moments from all of Bournemouth’s best bits, from the Pier to promenade. Bournemouth’s vibrant town centre is an easy 10-minute stroll from the hotel. To get to the beach, follow the West Cliff zig-zag path or take the funicular lift - both are just a four-minute walk from the hotel’s front door. 

Yes it is, with a great selection of interconnecting rooms, family rooms, plus rooms that are large enough to fit an extra bed or cot. Extra beds are z-beds, suitable for small children under 10.

While you have to be aged 16 or over to use the spa, accompanied children can use the indoor pool daily between 9am and 10am, and 4pm to 5pm. Kids can splash in the outdoor pool at any time.

Outside of the water, there’s plenty to keep little ones quiet. On the lower ground floor you’ll find a cinema and children’s playroom, packed with electronic games, books, table football and board games. You’re also just a stone’s throw from some of Dorset’s best attractions, like Peppa Pig World and the New Forest National Park.

Yes it is. The spa is wheelchair accessible and there’s a small lift to all floors of the hotel. Fully accessible bedrooms will be available shortly, and currently there are rooms with walk-in showers.

Four-legged friends are not allowed in the spa itself, of course, but The Nici is fabulously dog-friendly. For an extra £30 per pooch, per night, furry friends can stay in Garden Suites and Courtyard Rooms. They’ll get their own bowl and bed, plus dog shampoo and ‘eau dog parfum’ so they can feel just as pampered as you do! 

There isn’t, but there is one just under a mile away. The Club at Meyrick Park is an 18-hole golf course set in 120 acres of scenic parkland - you won’t believe you’re so close to the centre of Bournemouth. Play a round on undulating, tree-lined fairways. And if you want to pick up new skills or improve your swing, they offer golf tuition from beginners to advanced.
