The Ebb & Flow Restaurant

Seafood fan? You’re in the right place. The River Conwy is famous for its mussels and mackerel and you can enjoy the finest, freshest catches of the day right here in Ebb & Flow’s swish yet relaxed surroundings. 

Named after the ebb and flow of the river that happens to be right outside the window, the hotel's restaurant offers excellent dining with stunning views of the Conwy Mountains, the estuary and the majestic medieval castle beyond. Taking its cues from the gorgeous location, you’ll find a real taste of Wales in all of Ebb & Flow’s brasserie-style creations, from local laverbread to Welsh treacle cured lamb rump.

The Cove Bar & Terrace

At 15m it’s long enough for laps so have a dip, then retreat to the comfort of the hydrotherapy pool, Himalayan salt room or infrared sauna.

Yes there is. With all the good looks of a lakehouse in the Hamptons on the outside, inside The Quay Hotel’s 80 sumptuous rooms and suites continue the theme throughout their interiors with a soothingly chic coastal colour palette.

Categories range from Cosy Cove rooms up to Luxury Suites - the latter boast separate lounges, floor-to-ceiling windows and impressive castle views. Executive rooms have a choice of private balcony or terrace, perfect for a morning coffee or evening G and T.

Here on an overnight spa package? You’ll stay in a Superior room with a marble ensuite bathroom and views either onto the marina or over the hotel’s zen courtyard. Some have private outdoor spaces or Juliet balconies, but all of them have luxurious linen for a blissful night’s sleep.

The Quay Hotel & Spa is located on the Deganwy Marina, overlooking the Conwy Estuary in North Wales. Its fantastic location lets you explore Snowdonia National Park, along with the nearby coastal towns of Conwy and Llandudno.

Here on an overnight stay? You can check in from 3pm, while check-out time is by 11am. If you arrive earlier, you’re able to store your luggage with the porter until your room is ready. For pampering day packages, arrival times vary so do check your booking confirmation. Morning spa experiences start at 8:30am, while afternoon sessions begin at 1pm.

The Quay Hotel & Spa is a great place to bring the kids, with Luxury Suites that transform into family rooms thanks to a double sofa bed in the lounge, along with an additional sofa - some even have a small dining area. 

There’s a childrens’ menu packed with family favourites for picky eaters. And while you have to be aged 16 or over to use the thermal suite, children can splash in the pool every morning and evening. Check with the hotel for the current family swim times.

With so much to do in the local area, they won’t be bored. Little explorers will love discovering Conwy Castle, or try the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Just five miles away, it’s the oldest and most established zoo in Wales. If all else fails, take them to nearby Llandudno Pier with its array of shops, cafes and attractions. 

Yes it is, with three accessible rooms designed specifically for those with limited mobility. These are found on the ground floor and have wet rooms for guests. There are also disabled parking spaces and the car park offers levelled access to reception.

Four-legged friends are not allowed to set a paw in the spa itself, of course, but The Quay Hotel is fabulously dog-friendly. For an extra £25 per night, one well-behaved furry friend can stay in ground-floor Superior rooms overlooking the harbour. 

Wales is a paradise for lovers of the sport of kings. While there’s no course on-site, there are three nearby, each offering golfers a unique way to test their skills. Conwy Golf Course is a championship links golf course, Maesdu Golf Course is an 18-hole course with panoramic views of Snowdonia, while Pwllheli Golf Course combines tree-lined parkland golf with links golf.
