About
Wishing for wow-factor wellness in Wales? Spa breaks don’t come much more spectacular than the one awaiting you at The Quay Hotel & Spa. Slap bang on the waterfront in Deganwy Quay with jaw-dropping views across the mouth of the River Conwy towards Conwy Castle, its stunning setting (along with some seriously luxe leisure facilities) will tick all of your boxes.
More than just a spot to rest your head after a day of exploring, a stay in The Quay Hotel & Spa will rejuvenate both body and soul. In fact, there’s no better way to warm up after all those bracing coastal walks than with a trip to the newly-refurbished wellness area. Take a dip in the toasty indoor pool, soak in the hydrotherapy pool or take yourself on a thermal journey through aromatherapy steam rooms and a blissful selection of saunas. There are even bubbly foot spas to relax your post-hike limbs.
With the best of Wales’s coastal bounty on offer at the hotel’s Ebb & Flow Restaurant, gourmet getaways are guaranteed here. Dine on mussels and mackerel plucked straight from the river while you drink in those castle views. Enjoy a Welsh ale at the atmospherically-lit Cove Bar, or head out for sundowners on the terrace when the weather’s cooperating.
Walk off your dinner with a 40-minute dusk stroll into Conwy to see the UNESCO world heritage town up-close. For such a small town, there’s so much to do. Alongside the imposing thirteenth-century castle and its walls, independent shops on the main street bristle with life. Wales' largest seaside resort Llandudno is close by for some traditional bucket and spade fun, and you’re within a 45-minute drive of the breath-taking Snowdonia national park.
But chances are you won’t want to stray too far from the Quay Hotel’s magical spa. In this tranquil oasis you’ll find eight sumptuous treatment rooms, a relaxation room and an entire menu of Oskia rituals to relax and revive you. And just when you thought you couldn’t relax anymore, 80 sumptuous bedrooms and suites await when you’re ready to drift off to bed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does The Quay Hotel & Spa serve afternoon tea?
Is it really a spa day if you don’t devour dinky delicacies and slather cream and jam onto crumbly pastry? We don’t think so! Served on a stylish three-tiered stand every day between 1pm and 3.30pm, the The Quay Hotel & Spa have given their afternoon tea a little bit of a local twist.
Amongst the savouries you’ll find tasty morsels such as Welsh rarebit on toasted brioche loaf, while the cakes include Tan Lan bara brith - a Welsh tea bread from an artisan bakery in Conwy. Enjoy with a cup of aromatic Conwy Mountain breakfast blend tea, or upgrade to Champagne or Prosecco if the occasion calls for it (and even if it doesn’t).

Yes there is, and it’s beautifully tranquil thanks to its stylish decor - think mood lighting, plenty of plants for that chic biophilic look and wooden day beds for poolside posing.
