Fitness here feels every bit as luxurious as the swish spa, thanks to state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, a healthy café, smoothie bar and complimentary bottled water, along with towels and VOYA shower products. From strength training to cardio, you can work your whole body, plus there’s an expert team of coaches and trainers on-hand to explain how to use all the machines.

Pump some iron at the free weights, then work up a sweat with some cardio - take your pick from treadmills, bikes, cross-trainers or rowing machines.

Want to workout in the sunshine? No problem. There’s a challenging golf course that’s perfect for sports lovers. But if a hike is more your thing, you’re in luck. Not only does Laceby Manor have 150 acres of countryside to explore, its Lincolnshire Wolds location puts the whole of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at your fingertips. In fact, you can do the Laceby Circular walk right from your doorstep - just look for the wooden footpath signs.

The Oak Room

Sumptuous surroundings and blissfully adults-only, this exclusive restaurant is available for spa guests only. Nestled in the spa gardens, the Oak Room is spa dining (and lunching!) at its very best. 

Cuddle up by the log burner with something from the restaurant's own wood-fired pizza oven. Then in summer you can eat al fresco - the walls retract to let the sunshine in.

The Clubhouse

If you’re staying a little longer, why not try The Clubhouse? With a fabulous bar that’s great for an evening g and t after a day spent pampering in the spa, it offers breakfast, an all-day menu along with bar food and brasserie options.

The Spa at Laceby Manor has a deliciously warm, indoor/outdoor vitality pool with a swim-through glass door feature. It’s more for lounging than laps - and for letting those underwater jets massage away your aches and pains while you admire fantastic views across the golf course. 

Feeling adventurous? There is another swimming option on offer at Laceby Manor, but it’s not a pool as such. The resort has its own natural swimming pond! Great for cooling off after you’ve been in the thermal suite, it’s bracing enough to give you all of wild swimming’s detoxifying, circulation-boosting benefits. 

The eco-conscious spa is perfect for holistic, sustainable health and wellness. Guests can enjoy the massage jets in the indoor/outdoor vitality pool overlooking the golf course, or soak up the heat in the aroma steam room, herbal sauna or Finnish sauna. There’s a mud rasul, a hammam and plenty of spa terraces to enjoy.

But it also offers fabulous features that you just won’t find elsewhere. The natural swimming pond isn’t just the perfect way to cool off after your sauna. Accessed via a purpose-built deck and stairs, it offers all the mental and physical benefits of cold water immersion. The spa also offers couchettes - private post-treatment relaxation rooms with ornate decoration, reserved just for you.

The perfect end to a pampering spa break? Being able to drift off to sleep in luxury. Luckily, The Spa at Laceby Manor lets you do just that in fabulous lodges, pods and spa suites that will all help you feel closer to nature. 

If there’s a group of you, try a two-bedroom lodge, or for a couple’s retreat with a difference go for a romantic pod nestled in the gardens. Both feature outdoor sunken hot tubs and views across the parkland golf course. Or, for the ultimate pampering spa break, stay in a luxurious spa suite overlooking the lake. Each one features a terrace with an outdoor brushed nickel bathtub and its own rainshower.

For overnight stays, room check-in is usually from 3pm for the pods and from 4pm for the lodges, while checkout time is 10am, but do check your booking confirmation as times may vary. Here on a day spa package? Morning and full-day spa breaks start at either 9am or 10pm, while afternoon spa packages begin at around 1.30pm.

You’ll find Laceby Manor near Grimsby - some 40 minutes from the historic city of Lincoln and 15 minutes from the sea-side town of Cleethorpes. It’s right on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty full of hills, valleys, streams, and villages just waiting to be explored. Pack your walking boots as it’s too pretty to miss.

The Spa at Laceby Manor is strictly adults-only. This includes the Oak Room restaurant, which is also for those aged 18 and above. 

Laceby Manor itself does allow children and has a variety of two-bedroom lodges on offer, as well as cots and highchairs available at an extra charge. But, while kids will undoubtedly love the hot tubs and all the space to run around in, there aren’t any playgrounds or children’s activities on offer, here just lashings of natural beauty and fresh air.

But child-friendly activities can be enjoyed nearby. Just a 20-minute drive from Laceby Manor, Cleethorpes Leisure Centre has a 25-metre fitness pool, flume, waves and even its own beach.

It does, and it’s a beauty. Perfect if you love to combine golf with wellness, the 18-hole, par-72 parkland course was built in the 1990s, but has beautifully matured into one of the area’s top places to tee off.
