For the spa myself and my mum had a facial and massage, ten out of ten. Both were excellent. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

Hotel is lovely. Room was spacious and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly. Leisure centre excellent. Nice swimming pool. Had the neck shoulder and back massage which was excellent and therapist was very nice. The breakfast was not up to scratch. The bacon and sausages were cold and the potato scones were cremated. There was a good choice of cereals and continental breakfast and fruit if that's what you wanted. We wanted a hot breakfast as it is something we don't have very often so was very disappointing it didn't live up to our expectations.

My friend and I booked a Spa day with afternoon tea, through Tesco clubcard points, as a treat. The afternoon tea was lovely and plentiful. Everyone took great care regarding allergies, which was beneficial to me. The treatment I had was given by Vicky and she was excellent. Asked lots of questions to find out about what I liked, pressure and the oil to use. I felt so relaxed after my neck, back and shoulders. The foot scrub was also really relaxing. Unfortunately there were some downsides. The small repairs that needed doing. The fact that there is no lift up to the treatment rooms, it was a bit difficult for me to get up all the stairs (I know a lift cannot be put in due to the nature of the building. Is it the right place therefore to have the treatment rooms. Over all, I would return to for another experience. Please pass on my sincere thanks to Vicky for such a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Great hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the meals were delicious and the pool great too. The treatment girls were also lovely. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. It's the 2nd time I've been and would go again. It's also in a great central location with plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
