Getting away from all the noise isn’t always easy, of course, but when escape to the wonderful Thoresby Hall you’ll be unwinding in no time at all. This magnificent hotel is a former Victorian stately home full of heritage and charm, and it retains many of its original features. Located in Nottinghamshire and within easy reach of the whole of the East Midlands, it really is a must-visit.
The spa here is designed for lovers of luxury to simply float away on a cloud of contentment. There are treatments aplenty to be had here, and the atmosphere is geared towards forgetting all about the outside world for a while.
Overnight stays at Thoresby Hall are always blissful, and there’s a fantastic choice of rooms and suites to choose from. More than 50 of them are to be found in the original building, and more than 160 are in the stylish new building, which is connected to the main house by a covered link bridge.

Beautiful place, my favourite place is the Jacuzzi. in the pool I also felt like a fish in water, the water temperature was perfect. unfortunately the sauna was too hot, so I left immediately. I would like to visit this wonderful place again.

Loved every minute of the experience. Started with the most relaxing massage ever, and ended with a session on the wave bed - must save up for one of my own to go in my dream house. Leaving the spa we rambled to the restaurant for afternoon tea and, of course, a glass of Prosecco. The best experience.

The staff were fabulous throughout. Upon entry to the hotel we needed to go straight to the spa and check-in there. Unfortunately there was a horrendous smell around the spa which was a mixture of aromatherapy oils and stagnant water or sewage. This impacted our initial impression and our overall experience. The robes were tatters but the showers were clean and hot. The bubble pool is not a hot tub which is a shame but everything else was good. The afternoon tea was fantastic. Definitely worth the money.
