Set within a fully air conditioned space and with top-spec audio and fitness technology, this refurbished gym offers a new range of Technogym equipment. With a fully interactive indoor cycling studio plus a studio for fitness classes, you’ll really get your heart rate pumping. But just remember that, however hard you work out, the thermal suite will be there to boost your recovery.

This newly-refurbished reception area is also where you’ll drink a nutritional wellbeing shot and nibble on chilled fresh fruit - and you’ll do it all in the comfort of your snuggly robe.  

Waterside Bar & Restaurant

The Waterside Restaurant serves home-cooked, locally-sourced food, all day, every day. Choose from the restaurant menu, the daytime menu, treat yourself to an afternoon tea or just pop in for a coffee and a piece of homemade cake.  

With live music on special occasions, the signature restaurant sits in the heart of the resort and has views out across the first tee and into the countryside beyond. Dogs are welcome on the terrace - and you’ll be happy to join them there once the warmer weather appears.

Head for a local tipple at the Waterside Bar and unwind for a drink in the lounge. You may find it hard to choose - the wine library is extensive, and there’s also more than a hundred different whiskies and gins.

If you go on a spa break and don't get to swim in a beautiful pool, was it really even a spa break? Luckily, Ufford Park Resort has a gorgeous indoor swimming pool that’s perfect for water babies. At 18m, a few lengths of your best breaststroke will really work up an appetite for lunch.

Of course! Ufford Park has 90 four-star standard bedrooms, many with balconies and great views over the beautiful Suffolk landscape. Room categories range from Classic doubles to Four Poster and Junior suites, which come complete with plush sofas and rainfall showers.

While spa treatments and the thermal suite are restricted to those aged 16 or over, the hotel itself is fabulously family-friendly. Ufford Park’s XL Family Rooms boast one double bed, two single beds and can accommodate a cot if required. There’s also the self-contained Blyth apartment that sleeps six, so even extended family can all stay together.

At the Waterside Restaurant, children’s menus cater to pint-sized picky eaters while there are generous family splash times at the pool. Kids can swim between 10.30am and 11.30am and 2pm and 6pm each weekday, on Saturdays between 8.30am and 4pm and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays and bank holidays.

And with so much to do nearby, they won’t get bored. Ufford Park Resort is just 15 miles from Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park, where your little ones can get to know over 100 species and breeds, from capybaras to crocodiles, pigs to pelicans, and even monkeys.

Yes it is. The hotel offers three adapted rooms with pull-cord alarms, walk-in showers and lowered beds, along with ground floor access to the restaurant and bar. 

There’s good news and bad news. Your furry friend can join you outside on the terrace dining areas, but only service dogs can stay for a sleepover.

Its 18-hole, par 71 parkland course is playable all year round, or just grab a bucket of balls and practise your swing. It’s home to the only two-tier driving range in Suffolk, complete with in-range ball tracking technology. 

For those who don’t take the sport of kings too seriously, there’s also a crazy golf course called Congo Rapids. A fun activity to do with friends, this Florida-style adventure golf course has some wild and wacky challenges.
